Which wood surfaces qualify?
Decks, fences, pergolas, and other exterior wood in sound condition. Rotted or structurally compromised boards should be replaced first — we'll flag any issues during your free estimate.
Does it change the color?
The nano-silica cures clear and lets the natural grain and tone of your wood show through. It's a protective treatment, not a stain.
Is it safe for pets and plants?
Once fully cured the treated surface is inert. We'll walk you through timing and simple prep so pets, kids, and landscaping stay clear during application and cure.
How is this different from staining?
Stain sits on the surface and needs re-doing every year or two as it fades and peels. Our nano-silica penetrates into the wood and bonds inside it, protecting from UV and moisture without a re-coating cycle.
